LOKI FASHIONED HIS SUIT IN THE LIKENESS OF A BILGESNIPE.
When Thor was explaining what a Bilgesnipe was to Coulson, he said it was a big scaly thing with huge horns. And that it’s vicious, and tramples everything in it’s path. I theorize, that’s the path Loki was going down when he made his bad guy suit. Formidable, huge horns, ghastly… Bilgesnipe. Something even Thor thinks is scary looking.
